State Schools Superintendents Wants Renewed Focus on Classroom Discipline

It’s not only salary issues forcing teachers to leave the profession. Many are choosing to quit due to the rise of unruly students and school administrators unwilling to discipline them. That’s according to State Schools Superintendent Tom Horne.

Speaking on a recent edition of the KYCA Morning Report, Horne stated:

A survey by the Arizona School Personnel Administrators Association showed there are more than 2,200 teacher vacancies across the state.
