A wildfire is burning near Black Canyon City. Officials with the State Forestry and Fire Management Department report the Soap Fire has grown to 620 acres in size. It is burning in steep, rugged terrain with zero containment. Aerial tankers have been called in to battle the fire.
Bureau of Land Management officials report the Soap Fire is human-caused.
