Yavapai County Community Health Services has issued another food recall, this time for chocolate and yogurt-covered products from Cal Yee Farm.
The recall includes dark chocolate walnuts, dark chocolate raisins, dark chocolate almonds, yogurt-coated almonds, dark chocolate apricots, tropical trail mix, butter toffee, mango with chili, hot Cajun sesame sticks, New Orleans hot mix, Fruit Basket 2909, and Fruit Basket 2921.
The recall is necessary because these products may contain undeclared milk, soy, wheat, sesame, FD&C number six, and almonds. Anyone with an allergy to these ingredients could suffer a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume them.
These foods were distributed to stores in Arizona, California, and New Mexico. No illnesses have been reported from these products. If you have purchased any of these items, either throw them out or return them to the store where you bought them for a refund.
