The executive director of the Central Yavapai Metropolitan Planning Organization, Vinnie Gallegos, says it’s common sense that when a major artery into Prescott is shut down, all other roadways are affected.
Gallegos notes the shutdown causes greater congestion, which is an ongoing issue in the region.
