After two straight losses, the Prescott boys’ soccer team needed a rebound before the start of Christmas break. The Badgers traveled to Cave Creek on Wednesday to face Cactus Shadows. After scoring just one goal in their last two games, Prescott’s offense re-emerged as they eclipsed the Falcons 3-1.
Casey DeVito led the attack with two goals, while Arthur Kurnat notched the other Badger goal. Roman DeWeese recorded an assist. Prescott is now 2-2 in its power-point games.
This was the final game of December for the Badgers. They will be back in action on January 6 when they travel to Campo Verde. That game kicks off a four-game road swing for Prescott. They won’t play on Bill Shepard Field until January 27, when they take on Flagstaff.
