Local scoreboard from yesterday, the Chino Valley wrestling team bested Wickenburg and Camp Verde, 42-30 and 41-36 respectively. Lyric Brooks, Luis Aviles, Caden Call, and Wyatt Kunaschk were all undefeated.
Alumni update time. Former Prescott wrestler Jackson Perkins is doing well at Benedictine College in Kansas. He was named the Heart of America Athletic Conference Wrestler of the Week after going 5-0 at the Conner/Oppenheim Open and is ranked number 18 in the nation at 184 pounds.
Registration is underway for the City of Prescott’s spring volleyball league. Men’s, women’s, and co-ed divisions are offered. The cost is $155 per team, and you can register online at prescott-az.gov/rec-services.
