AZ’s Most Expensive Gas is in Yavapai County

The closing days of 2024 have brought lower gas prices. AAA Arizona reports the statewide average for a gallon of unleaded regular is $3.06, down three cents from a week ago. It’s also three cents higher than the national average.

The most expensive gas in the state can be found in Yavapai County, with an average of $3.22 per gallon, the same as it was a week ago. The cheapest gas in the state is in Pinal County at $2.87 per gallon. Four other counties also have an average price of under three dollars per gallon: Greenlee, Pima, Yuma, and La Paz.
