Thousands are expected to pack downtown Prescott on New Year’s Eve tomorrow for the annual Whiskey Row Boot Drop. The six-foot illuminated boot will be lowered from the flagpole at The Palace at 10 p.m. — to coincide with the New York ball drop on the East Coast — and again at midnight Arizona time. Each boot drop will be followed by fireworks.
There will also be live music and food vendors. The boot drop runs from 7:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. Admission to the event is free.
