Yavapai County Judge Sentences Man to 13 1/2 Years for Assault in Sedona

A Flagstaff man is going to prison for 13-and-a-half years on aggravated assault and burglary charges stemming from an incident in Sedona. Yavapai County Superior Court Judge Michael Bluff recently handed down the sentence to 42-year-old John Eisenbeiss.

Sedona police reported that on June 17, 2022, Eisenbeiss went to a bar after breaking up with his girlfriend. While there, he sent his former girlfriend lewd and threatening texts. Eisenbeiss also used her credit card to pay his bar tab before driving to her home, where he kicked down an entry gate. When another person tried to help, Eisenbeiss choked and threatened the good Samaritan with a handgun.
