Academic Honors for ERAU Women’s Soccer Players

Their excellent grades earned them major honors. Rae Yoshioka and Jamie Black of the Embry-Riddle women’s soccer team were named Scholar All-Americans by the United Soccer Coaches. Yoshioka, an applied biology major and an NAIA All-American, has a 3.83 GPA, while Black, a mechanical engineering major and an all GSAC selection, has a GPA of 3.45.

In addition, Yoshioka was named to the College Sports Communicators All-District and All-American academic teams, along with teammate Ellie Neal. It’s the third time Yoshioka made the CSC All-American Academic Team, while Neal got the honor for the second time in her career. Two other Lady Eagles, Hannah Draper and Aubrie Labno, received All-District academic honors from the CSC.

Another Embry-Riddle soccer player, Jackie Peterson, received the university’s Chancellor’s Award, which honors a graduating senior for their academic accomplishments and high level of campus and community involvement.
