The Bradshaw Mountain boys soccer team got off to a rough start, trailing Deer Valley 2-0 in Wednesday’s match. Suddenly, the Bears flipped the script in a big way. They scored, and scored again, and again, and again, and again—until they rattled off nine unanswered goals on the Skyhawks to get the 9-2 win.
It was a big night for Ethan Smith with a hat trick plus one. Will Smith notched two goals. Alan Flores, Jose Gomez, and Jacob Cruz each had a goal.
The victory snapped a three-game winless streak for Bradshaw Mountain, whose record now stands at 2-2-1.
The Bears are off for the rest of the week. Next Wednesday, they kick off Grand Canyon Region play with a trip to Kingman to face Lee Williams, who are 0-3 in their power point games.
Bradshaw Mountain does not have a home game until January 22, when they host Mohave.
