ERAU Basketball Goes 1-1 at Ottawa

The Embry-Riddle men’s basketball team was up by eight points over Ottawa going into halftime of last night’s game. The Eagles continued to build on that lead in the second half and ultimately got the win. The final score was 84-68. That marks Embry-Riddle’s first-ever victory in head-to-head GSAC competition.

Jake Klingler was the Eagles’ leading scorer with 15 points. Peter Dress garnered 14 points, Noah Gifft notched 12 points, and Demari Hackett put up 10 points. Conner Ivy came close to a double-double with nine points and 10 rebounds.

Meanwhile, the Embry-Riddle women got into a big hole in the first quarter and were unable to dig themselves out, losing to Ottawa 67-47. Zakirrah King posted 14 points for the Lady Eagles. Mehgan Strickler recorded 11 points and seven rebounds, and Ella Schott tallied nine points.
