The game was close for a while, but little by little, the Prescott girls basketball team pulled away. By the time the fourth quarter rolled around, they had built up a lead that Bradshaw Mountain could not overcome and secured a 54-34 triumph Thursday night.
“Addie-cadabra” Addie Prisciandaro was the Lady Badgers’ leading scorer with 14 points. Bella Abt notched 10 points, and Kylee Murdock netted six points. For the Lady Bears, Emma Johnson posted 13 points, while Kenna Martinez and Presley Connolly each tallied five points.
The win puts Prescott’s record at 12-4 for the season, while Bradshaw Mountain falls to 6-6. The Lady Badgers travel to ALA Queen Creek on Monday. The Lady Bears, meanwhile, are back in action tonight at Flagstaff. Both sides meet again on January 30 at Prescott High School.
