The Partners Against Narcotics Trafficking, or PANT, and the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office K9 unit had a very active year in 2024. The two groups made 230 felony arrests while removing 102,000 fentanyl pills and 37 pounds of meth from the street.
One of the last big drug busts of 2024 took place on December 27 when a K9 deputy conducted a traffic stop on Highway 69 in Mayer, resulting in two arrests and the confiscation of 20 grams of meth and 20 Xanax pills.
