BMHS Basketball Gains Split With Mingus

The Bradshaw Mountain boys basketball team had one tough game Tuesday against Coconino, falling 63-60 in overtime. Mingus also gave the Bears some good competition Thursday night in Cottonwood. However, Bradshaw Mountain kept the Marauders at arm’s length and emerged victorious from this contest by the final score of 65-54.

It was a big night for Jayden Blasczyk, who had a double-double with 21 points and 10 rebounds. The Rannikers had another good night, with Cam netting 19 points and Preston posting 10 points. “The Phantom” Michael Crawford chipped in five points. This puts the Bears’ overall record at 13-8.

The Bradshaw Mountain girls also faced Mingus last night, but lost 61-42. Kalli Smith led the Lady Bears in scoring with 18 points. The Lady Bears fall to 6-9 on the season.
