A carpet replacement project on the first floor of the Prescott Valley Public Library will force patrons to adjust their library routine.
The entire first floor of the library will not be accessible while this project is underway, from roughly February 3 to April 4. During this time, library staff will make every effort to ensure minimal disruption to patrons.
Most services will be temporarily relocated to the second floor. This includes public computers and printers, a temporary check-out desk, and access to new books and DVDs, puzzles, Lucky Day items, and holds. Patrons will not be able to access the library’s fiction collection, DVDs, or the Library of Things on the first floor. The PC lab on the second floor will have ten laptops available to the public for 30-minute sessions. Library hours will remain the same.
