Fuel Prices up in AZ, Yavapai County with State’s Most Expensive Gas

Arizona’s average price for gas is almost in line with the national average. AAA reports the state’s average price is $3.15 a gallon, while the national average is $3.13 a gallon. Both the state and national averages went up by three cents from the previous week, with AAA blaming the recent winter storms in the East and South for the spike in prices.

In Arizona, the highest average for a gallon of unleaded regular is in Yavapai County at $3.21, a three-cent increase from a week ago. Coconino County is a very close second with an average of $3.20 per gallon. The cheapest gas in Arizona can be found in La Paz County at $3.00 a gallon.
