Overnight Lane Closures Planned for HWY 69 in Prescott

The Arizona Department of Transportation is making progress on the State Route 69 widening project in Prescott. They advise motorists to plan for overnight lane restrictions on State Route 69 at Prescott Lakes Parkway from this Sunday through February 20th, for the removal of the temporary traffic control barrier and maintenance work.

State Route 69 will be reduced to one lane nightly in both directions, between Prescott Lakes Parkway and Heather Heights, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. each night. The speed limit will be reduced to 35 mph in the work zone. All business driveways along SR 69 will remain open during construction, and a 10-foot vehicle width restriction will be in place. Restrictions will be lifted each day after work hours.

ADOT advises drivers to slow down and use caution around maintenance personnel and equipment in all work zones.
