The Prescott National Forest has announced that Forest Service Road 104, also known as Mingus Mountain Road, will be closed from this Sunday till February 23rd, to complete a maintenance project.
The road has been undergoing construction and maintenance since November in an effort to address inadequate drainage and erosion issues. The closure will allow the Forest Service to create a large culvert that is critical to the project. The two-week closure affects the road from State Route 89A to Allen Springs Road.
Closure dates are subject to weather conditions and other changes.
