PHS Boys Basketball Zaps Flagstaff

The first time the Prescott and Flagstaff boys basketball teams met last month, the Badgers utterly spanked the Eagles 75-33. Meeting number two between the two clubs Thursday was a bit closer, but the result was the same. Prescott got the win 68-44 for their 13th win in a row.

Zane Gaul registered 26 points for the Badgers, Uriah Tenette put up 21 points, roughly half of them from the free throw line. Cooper Magnett garnered 16 points.

Potential bad news for Prescott as Josiah Peoples went down hard during the game with an apparent lower body injury that had him on crutches.

The Badgers’ record now stands at 18-5 on the season. They are back home next Tuesday to face Mingus, and that game will be broadcast on our sports station, The Team 1450 AM KNOT.
