The Brady Fire is not as big as originally reported. Officials with the Prescott National Forest say after more accurate mapping, the wildfire near Mayer now stands at 363 acres. It was first reported to be 400 acres in size.
Right now, there is zero percent containment on the fire. There are 140 personnel assigned to this wildfire.
Residents of Pine Flats had to be evacuated due to this wildfire. In addition, County Road 177 into Pine Flat is closed.
The cause of the Brady Fire is not known at this time.
