It may not have been the massacre like their first meeting of the season when the Prescott boys basketball team clobbered Mohave 109-29. Still, last night’s rematch in Bullhead City was a one-sided affair. Uriah Tenette once again put on a show that included another spinning 360 dunk. “Tenacious T” racked up 30 points before sitting out the entire fourth quarter as the Badgers smoked the Thunderbirds 76-44.
Cooper Magnett garnered 15 points. Coley Fundalewicz put up six points.
That concludes the regular season schedule for Prescott. They wind up with an overall record of 20-5 and are riding a 15-game winning streak. The Badgers are also the Grand Canyon Region champions for the second straight season, posting a region record of 12-0.
Next up for Prescott is the Open Division State Tournament, featuring teams from the 4A, 5A, and 6A conferences. The Badgers are number 16 in the Open Division rankings.
