Lots of Post-Season Action Coming up This Week

A big week of post-season action is on tap for some of our local teams. It all starts tonight with the number one seed Prescott girls soccer team hosting number four Cactus Shadows in the final four of state. Both sides faced one another in the regular season, with the Lady Badgers getting the 1-0 win. The game starts at 6 p.m.

Wednesday is the start of the 4A Conference boys basketball tournament. Prescott, the number two seed, is home versus number 15 Mesquite. Bradshaw Mountain, the number 16 seed, heads to Tucson to take on number one seed Sahuaro. Both games tip off at 7 p.m.

Thursday it’s the girls’ turn on the hardwood. Number six seed Prescott is home versus number eleven Agua Fria. The game starts at 7 p.m.

Both Prescott basketball games will be broadcast on KYCA 1490 AM, 103.5 FM, and online at www.kyca .info .

On Saturday, it’s collegiate playoff time as the Embry-Riddle men’s basketball team is in California to take on The Master’s University in the Great Southwest Athletic Conference semi-finals.
