Time to honor those local college athletes who nailed down the top GPAs on their teams by giving them spots on the KYCA All-Area Fall Academic Team. For Yavapai College, the women’s soccer team had 4.0s from Ava Manwill, Allison Eske, Gracey Fowlkes, Poppy Anderson, Sophia Fottrell, Morgan McLane, Jill Young, Megan Townsend, and Mia Howard.
For Embry-Riddle, the best GPAs were from Elias Ammon of the men’s soccer team, Rae Yoshioka, Jamie Black, Ellie Neal, Hannah Draper, and Aubrie Labno of women’s soccer, and Dalia Haase, Katie Rolle, and Lily Figgins of the volleyball team.
