A multi-vehicle crash eastbound on I-10, about 14 miles west of Tonopah, occurred on March 1st, resulting in the deaths of 4 people. Several others were injured and transported to hospitals in the valley.
Dustin Cluff, a Prescott Valley resident and father of three, was killed in the crash alongside his girlfriend, Melinda Kobold, a Peoria resident and mother of two. The couple were on their way home from Glamis, California.
The Arizona Highway Patrol continues their investigation into this tragic collision.
Troopers believe the collision involved six commercial motor vehicles, four passenger vehicles, a van, and a recreational vehicle towing a trailer.
Multiple vehicles caught fire after the crash.
Troopers are also investigating whether blowing dust was a significant factor in the collisions.
