Loads of Top 10 Finishes for PHS & BMHS T&F Teams at Rattler Invite

There were top ten finishes galore for the Prescott and Bradshaw Mountain track and field teams at Saturday’s Rattler Invitational at North Canyon High School in Phoenix. The top performance of the day went to Prescott’s Luke Mason, who placed first in the boys’ javelin.

Other top finishes for the Badgers included K-J Greenfield, who was second in the boys’ long jump; Libby Hlavacek, who took second in the girls’ pole vault; Aubrey Kitahata, who was third in the girls’ 400-meter dash and seventh in the 200-meter dash; Violet Williams, who placed fourth in the girls’ long jump and seventh in the 100-meter dash; and other fourth-place finishes for Prescott went to Wylie Monnett in the girls’ 400-meter dash and Rylee Hobson in the girls’ javelin.

Team-wise, the Prescott girls finished fifth and the boys were 12th.

Bradshaw Mountain’s top performers were Kayden Espinosa, sixth in the boys’ 110 hurdles; Trevor Head, eighth in the boys’ 3200-meter run; and an eighth-place finish for the boys’ 4×400 relay.
