Two more people have shown their desire to run for Prescott City Council. Mike Kabbel, the city’s former police chief, and John “Jay” Ruby have submitted statements of interest to run for one of the three contested seats on the city council.
They join Mary Frederickson, Robert Garing, Greg Lazzell, Henry Ebard the Second, Lara Hamidi-Ismert, and San Martin Rodriguez in the race for city council. Two current city council members are running for mayor, Brandon Montoya and Kathey Rusing.
The primary election for Prescott is August 5th.
