PHS Basketball’s Tenette Conference Player of the Year, Gaul 2nd Team Selection

They end their high school basketball careers with huge honors. Uriah Tenette of the Prescott Boys Basketball Team not only made the All-4-A Conference First Team, he was named the conference’s Offensive Player of the Year and the overall Conference Player of the Year. In his senior season, Tenette averaged 29.2 points per game. That was not only tops in the conference, it also put him fourth among all players in Arizona. He also ended his career seventh all-time in scoring in Arizona high school history.

Zane Gaul made the All-Conference Second Team. He averaged 17.2 points per game and grabbed 317 rebounds, the fourth most in the conference and the sixth most among all Arizona players. Gaul also recorded 52 steals and 47 blocks.

Next season, Tenette will suit up for UC-San Diego, and Gaul will be on the roster of Hawaii Pacific.
