New removable bollards are being installed in one part of downtown Prescott this week. Work is taking place at the intersection of Gurley and Montezuma streets. That intersection will be fully closed until the work is completed, which should happen by April 1st.
Bollards are vertical posts that are installed at intersections to provide an extra layer of safety during parades and other special events.
More bollards are scheduled to be installed at the intersection of Montezuma and Willis streets April 14th and 22nd.
