The Clarkdale Police Department announced it has arrested a suspect in the attempted kidnapping of a student outside the Clarkdale Jerome School Monday afternoon.
According to Clarkdale police, the incident happened around 1 p.m. Witnesses state the suspect was filming in the girls’ bathroom located outside near the soccer field. When students entered the restroom, he grabbed one of them by the arm. The student was able to get away. The man then scaled the fence and ran toward a wooded area near Number One Foods.
Clarkdale police say they will release more details on the arrest when they become available.
