Prescott City Council Approves Open Space Ballot Language

The Prescott City Council Tuesday gave its approval to ballot language for an open space amendment, which would prevent certain parcels from being sold unless by conservation easements. It would also restrict what could be built or added to those pieces of land.

City Attorney Joseph Young explains one of the changes to the ballot language:

The vote was 3-2 in favor of the new ballot language.
