Prescott Valley area drivers are advised to plan for the start of a pavement project on State Route 89A Spur, or Fain Road, that is scheduled to begin this Sunday, April 6. The Arizona Department of Transportation says the project will consist of removing and replacing the roadway pavement, making spot pavement repairs, and applying a two-pass, micro-surfacing pavement overlay treatment.
The $9.2 million project is located along Fain Road between SR 89A and SR 69 in Prescott Valley. Construction is scheduled during the daytime hours of 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and overnight work from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Sundays through Thursdays.
ADOT did not specify how long the project will take to complete.
