Dump the Drugs Day Coming up in PV

MatForce continues its partnership with local law enforcement to provide residents of Yavapai County with safe and convenient options for disposing of unused or expired medications.

Since 2008, more than 44,800 pounds of medication have been collected and properly disposed of through the ongoing Dump the Drugs events and permanent drop box locations across the county.

The next prescription drug take-back event will be held at Prescott Valley Police Department headquarters at 7601 E. Skoog Boulevard on Saturday, April 26th, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. This event offers a simple and secure way for community members to rid their homes of expired or unwanted medications.

Additionally, in an effort to provide year-round access to proper disposal options, 14 prescription drug drop boxes are available throughout Yavapai County. These drop boxes make it easy for residents to safely dispose of medications at their convenience. For more details on the upcoming event or drop box locations, visit matforce.org/yavapaicounty.
