The City of Prescott is now accepting applications from those interested in serving out the remainder of Cathey Rusing’s term. She resigned from city council to run for mayor. Those who wish to serve on the council must be a registered voter in the city for at least the past three years.
Applications are available online at the council members landing page at prescott-az.gov and must be turned in to the City Clerk’s Office by April 23rd. The City Council will review applications in an executive session on May 13th. Interviews with the candidates will take place May 20th, with the selection being made that same day.
