PHS Baseball Pummels Flagstaff

On Monday, the Prescott baseball team put up 19 runs against Greenway. Tuesday the Badgers showed they had plenty of high-octane fuel left in the tank as they rapped out hit after hit, and scored run after run. That resulted in Prescott overwhelming Flagstaff 14-5 in six innings.

Adrian Sanderford went 5-for-5 with four RBIs. He was also the winning pitcher with four strikeouts. Lucas Tobin drove in four runs and scored two. Nick Martin had two RBIs and three runs scored. Colton Champion, who earlier in the day signed to play at Arizona Christian University, drove in two runs. Dominic Cruz went 3-for-3 with three runs scored.

Prescott is now on a five-game winning streak and is 12-4 overall and 7-1 in Grand Canyon Region play. The Badgers and the Eagles have a re-match tomorrow in Flagstaff.
