Chino Valley Unified School District officials announced a student at Territorial Early Childhood Center has come down with a case of whooping cough. Information put out by the school nurse states the disease is becoming very common and highly contagious, but does not typically cause serious illness in school-age children. She suggests vaccinating your child against the disease.
Also, if your child has a coughing illness, keep them out of school to prevent infecting others.
