From May 19 to June 1, the Prescott Valley Police Department will join law enforcement around the state in the “Click It or Ticket” campaign. The program, which aims to enforce Arizona’s seat belt laws, is sponsored by the Arizona Governor’s Office of Highway Safety. The program will also enforce proper use of car seats.
PVPD reminds residents that seat belts work in tandem with air bags, and that air bags are not a replacement. They also encourage those driving with children to set an example that shows the importance of wearing a seat belt.
