They will keep on playing. The Embry-Riddle women’s golf team finished round two of the NAIA National Tournament yesterday in 13th place, making the cut for round three.
Senior Kaetlin Halseth leads the way for the Lady Eagles with a two-day score of 151, good for 19th place on the individual leaderboard. Bella Mantini – the GSAC individual champion – shot a 77 in both the first and second rounds. Maisy Alsen has a two-day score of 158, and Libby Axen stands at 169.
As a team, Embry-Riddle is shooting 47 over par, same as the Cumberlands. They are on the heels of Rocky Mountain and Dalton State – 46 over par; Oklahoma City – 45 over par; Lindsey Wilson – 44 over par; and Savannah College of Art and Design – 43 over par.
The NAIA National Tournament resumes today at the Eagle Crest Golf Club in Michigan.
