PV Town Council Gets 17 Applications to Fill Vacant Seat

The Prescott Valley Town Council has received 17 applications from residents hoping to fill a vacant council seat. To qualify, applicants had to be registered voters, at least 18 years old, and have lived in Prescott Valley for at least one year.

Council members will review the applications in a closed session today at 3:30 p.m. Public interviews with selected finalists are scheduled for May 29.

The person appointed to the seat will serve through December 2026 and will be eligible to run in the August 2026 election to finish the final two years of the term.
