Construction on a new westbound left-turn lane on Highway 89 at Little Ranch Road in Paulden begins Friday. Traffic will be reduced to one lane, with flaggers and a pilot car directing alternating traffic. The speed limit will also be reduced to 35 miles per hour in the work zone. Restrictions will run Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., with overnight work Sunday through Thursday from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.
All restrictions will be lifted after work hours daily.
The project should be finished sometime this fall. Drivers should expect delays and exercise caution in the work zone.
