Congratulations to Saige Scott. The Chino Valley teen won the state championship in both barrel racing and breakaway roping at the Arizona High School Rodeo State Finals last weekend at the Prescott Rodeo Grounds. She will compete at nationals in Rock Springs, Wyoming next month.
The Mayer High School girls flag football and basketball teams are putting on a golf fundraiser. It takes place June 28th at Quailwood Greens in Dewey. It’s 75 dollars per person and 260 dollars for a team, and you can register by calling 928-642-1223.
