City Council Discusses Climate Aspect of General Plan

Prescott’s proposed General Plan had a significant section dedicated to climate issues. But at this week’s General Plan meeting, the City Council saw many parts of that section were stricken or revised. This includes language on temperature projections, climate impacts, and replacing the word “create” with “encourage” when it comes to development and financial toolkits on the benefits of energy-efficient buildings.
