Not only did they have terrific stats during the 2025 season, they also had terrific grades to boot. Five players from the Embry-Riddle softball team were selected to the College Sports Communicators All-District Academic Team.
They are . . . Leah Salas, who made the NAIA All-American Second Team and was named the GSAC Player of the Year. She is a Global Security and Intelligence Studies major; Vanessa Brink, who was the GSAC Pitcher of the Year and an NAIA Scholar-Athlete. She graduated with a GSIS degree; Lily Anderson, who was an All-GSAC Team selection and an NAIA Scholar-Athlete. She earned a degree in Forensic Accounting and Fraud Examination; Autumn Sulusi, who also made the All-GSAC Team and was an NAIA Scholar-Athlete. She graduated with an Air Traffic Management degree; and Jade Bayless, who was also an All-GSAC selection and an NAIA Scholar-Athlete. She is majoring in Forensic Psychology.
