Yavapai County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a man in Prescott Valley who allegedly fired several shots inside a home with another person in it. According to YCSO officials, deputies were called to a home on North Cimmarron Drive around 5:30 p.m. Thursday for a report of domestic violence. While deputies were en route, they were informed the male suspect fired multiple gunshots inside the home while a woman was still inside.
When they got to the home, deputies found the woman yelling for help in the backyard. It was learned that when the man began shooting inside, the woman crawled out of a window into the backyard. Deputies got her away from the home.
The Sheriff’s Office SWAT team arrived and took the suspect into custody without incident. No injuries were reported during this situation.
