For the last couple of years, ADOT has implemented lane restrictions on I-17 between Anthem and Sunset Point. This week, lane restrictions will occur farther north. Daytime lane restrictions are in effect for I-17 between Camp Verde and Sedona. This is necessary to accommodate pavement improvement work. The interstate will be narrowed to one lane in each direction. Work hours are 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Thursday.
Motorists traveling along that stretch of I-17 should give themselves extra time to reach their destination and be aware of reduced speeds, and construction personnel and equipment.
