Several Yavapai College baseball players will be in uniform for new teams next season. This includes Justin Cherrington, an All-Conference First Team selection and the KYCA/Tri-City Sports Round-Up Number One Local Freshman of the Year. He signed with the University of Houston. Cherrington hit .424 with 12 home runs and a conference-leading 71 RBIs.
Brady Francisco will join Oklahoma State. He was an All-Conference Second Team selection who hit .304 with five home runs and 35 RBIs.
Traig Oughton will pitch for Cal State-Northridge. This past season, he went 4-3 with a 5.01 ERA and 52 strikeouts in 55 innings and made the All-Conference Second Team.
Liam Richards is headed to Elon University. An All-Conference First Team selection, he hit .408 with three home runs and 37 RBIs.
Payton Pudenz signed with Cal State-Bakersfield. He went 2-0 with a 3.29 ERA in five games.
