City leaders and staff reviewed the latest version of the plan, which includes revised maps, land use strategies, and new goals focused on sustainability, water resources, housing, and wildfire prevention.

The plan also addresses changing demographics, noting Prescott’s aging population, smaller household sizes, and growing demand for essential services.

The city council meet again on June 24th for a voting meeting on the General Plan. If approved, it will appear on the 2025 city ballot for voters to decide.
