Firefighters from several agencies were dispatched to Potato Patch just off Walker Road for a small wildfire. The blaze broke out around 3 a.m. Sunday.
Prescott National Forest spokesman Ansgar Mitchell says:
Central Arizona Fire and Medical Authority and the Walker Fire Department joined Prescott National Forest crews in battling the fire. The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office also blocked off part of Walker Road.
