Several new grapplers will be on the roster for the Embry-Riddle wrestling team for the 2025–2026 season. One of them is a transfer from Graceland University, Clemente Delgado. A native of Yuma, he was a four-time state placer and a one-time state champion for Gila Ridge High School. This past season for Graceland, he placed third at 125 pounds at the Heart of America Athletic Conference Championship Tournament.
Another Arizona native joining Riddle is Pedro Mendoza. A product of Walden Grove High School in Sahuarita, he was state runner-up at 138 pounds for Division Three this past season.
Axel Esparza comes to Riddle from Wildomar, California. Competing for Lakeside High School, he placed 8th at 144 pounds at this past season’s CIF State Tournament.
Also from California is Jacob Briggs. A native of Elk Grove, he went 24-8 this past season.
