Two people were injured in a vehicle rollover in Sedona Friday, though first responders had to track down one of the persons involved. According to the Sedona Fire Department, the accident occurred on Highway 89A shortly before 3 a.m. The vehicle was found overturned on a hillside. One occupant was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The second occupant fled the scene.
Sedona Police and DPS personnel soon found the second occupant. He was also taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. It is not known why the second occupant ran away from the accident scene.
The Department of Public Safety is investigating the incident.
